About Mary Knackstedt
Acclaimed speaker, author and sought-after consultant on interior design business practices, Mary Knackstedt, FASID, FIIDA, is an interior designer, furniture designer, founder and president of two successful design firms. She has taught continuing education and business courses for professional organizations and universities, including Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, for nearly two decades. As a consultant, she has helped organize hundreds of new businesses and developed strategies that have returned many failing creative companies to profitability.
Her own company, Knackstedt, Inc., of Harrisburg, PA and New York City, has handled hundreds of projects from small offices and residences to institutional complexes of more than 100 buildings.
